About the Author

   A.G. Ferguson is a fifth-generation Oregonian. He is married to his grade-school sweetheart, and they have three beautiful and genetically un-modified children. He attended the University of Notre Dame originally as an English and Engineering double major but ultimately graduated from the business school. He then went on to earn his MBA from the University of Oregon and co-founded a software firm from which he is retired. He is a patented inventor and co-founder of Transcend Robotics which creates safety through distance for police officers and citizens. He loves all things science – especially cutting-edge innovations. When he isn’t writing, you will most likely find him reading science journals, hanging out with his family, playing some racquet sport, hiking and camping in the deep forest, kayaking, swimming with sharks and whales, or riding his electric mountain bike or motorcycle.
